Snowy's Maiden Voyage - June 8th, 2013
In 2013, husband and wife Mark & Lynne, set out to make something amazing. Suprisingly, their business started out as a food truck!
It was then that "Snowy One" was born!
The two began selling shaved ice...but with active imaginations and sheer determination, they set out for much more.

As time passed, they eventually began making frosted nuts, festival foods, and freshly made beverages. They not only worked at concerts and events on the food truck, but they worked as vendors at their very own table!
One day...
Lynne began reading and experimenting with something new: chocolate! It was there and then that the power couple decided to make "Snowy's Chocolates" a reality. Time passed, and they opened up their first store off of 51, which quickly grew in popularity.
But both of them were working other full time jobs, and eventually they sold the building and food truck.
And Snowy's was closed...
Grand Opening - September 22nd, 2018
But that didn't last long. With a desire to create - and by public demand - the two got their hands on a building in the heart of Elizabeth and started from the ground up yet another time...
Together, they worked to make their dream come true. Mark refurbished and remodeled the location while Lynne designed the storefront and created all the delicious treats.
Thus Snowy's Chocolates was reborn, starting a brand new chapter in their lives...
Grand Re-Opening - February 4th, 2022
Our customers are the heart of our business. Without them, there's no us. With their support, the store in Elizabeth was a success more than ever. Snowy's expanded their deliciousness to not only specialty espresso drinks, but Kerber's Ice Cream. With higher demand, Lynne and Mark made a monumental decision: complete renovation in a new building. It would have been impossible had it not been for their impeccable teamwork, but Snowy's was reborn yet again - this time with a seating area to enjoy delicious treats. Please celebrate with us a new chapter in our lives at our grand re-opening.
A business built on love and family, Snowy's is sure to not only tug at your taste buds but heartstrings as well.
